LeBron James Has Joking Message for Team Mocked to Draft Bronny in 2024

Bronny James has not even begun his first season at USC yet, but that hasn’t stopped NBA analysts from creating mock drafts speculating where LeBron James’s son could be picked should he enter the NBA draft a year from now.

ESPN has Bronny mocked to the Hawks with the No. 17 pick in the 2024 draft. After the Worldwide Leader shared the mock draft to its Instagram story, LeBron jumped in on the action.

“Wellllll ATL shawty the #JamesGang will be pulling up,” he posted with crying laughing emojis.

It is no secret that LeBron has a desire to play with his son before he retires in the next few years. As James enters the twilight of his career, and his oldest son appears destined to follow in his father’s footsteps as an NBA professional, it would be monumental for both father and son to play together on the game’s biggest stage.

While LeBron has expressed that playing with Bronny is a goal of his, he also noted that it was O.K. if Bronny didn’t share the same sentiment.

Bronny can enter the NBA in 2024 at the earliest, but LeBron won’t be a free agent until 2025. That December, James will turn 41 years old.

Could the father-son duo end up playing together? Time will tell whether or not it comes to fruition, but it’s clear it’s still on LeBron’s mind as his son continue to progress through his amateur basketball career.
