The Dodgers lineup will face Royals left-handed pitcher Kris Bubic on the mound, who is 6-5 with a 2.18 ERA and 96 strikeouts this season. Most notably, Freddie Freeman is out of Sunday's lineup.
The Dodgers have Kiké Hernández penciled in as the starting first baseman for the series finale in Kansas City. Additionally, Miguel Rojas is starting at second, while Tommy Edman is at centerfield.
Manager Dave Roberts revealed Edman can now play more games in the outfield now that his ankle has improved after he spent time on the injured list because of a sprain.
The Dodgers currently lead the National League West by six games, and look to secure a series win over the Royals Sunday. However, it's unclear when the contest will start.
