Dodgers Fans React to Gavin Lux Being Removed as LA’s Shortstop

In this story:
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced that superstar Mookie Betts would be taking over at the shortstop position going forward. This comes after Roberts wouldn't commit to Gavin Lux being the team's shortstop following some poor defense during his early Cactus League games.
Lux is coming back from a torn ACL, but the Dodgers don't have time to waste. They are all-in on winning baseball games, so Lux will now be moved over to second base for the time being.
This is a move that has been talked about a lot recently, with fans potentially wanting a change. Now that it's here, here are some of the better reactions to the move.
Most seemed to like the move, crediting Betts for his willingness to switch positions again. Betts switched from right field to second base early in the offseason.
When you’re a superstar you do super star things….

i think Lux is a really good player, he just needs to relax and settle in

It’s a good move for now. No matter what anyone may say, coming back from that severe of a knee injury surely limited his mobility…we’ll see how this shuffle works out

Very good! Keep it.

Another reminder that Mookie can play pretty much any damn position and dominate. pic.twitter.com/4D0XEAaC0u

However, there were some that aren't as thrilled with the decision.
I hate wasting Mookie’s arm in the infield

They should have signed or traded for a true shortstop and trade Lux along

Either way, this is a move that the Dodgers felt they needed to make. Betts has shown an incredible willingness to do whatever the team needs, and this is just another example of that fact.
As for Lux, he'll have much less pressure on him at second base, and hopefully will be able to settle in early in the season before potentially moving back to shortstop.
