Dodgers Remove All-Star Teoscar Hernandez From Game in Concerning Development

In this story:
Teoscar Hernández has been replaced by Chris Taylor for the Los Angeles Dodgers during their Monday contest against the Miami Marlins.
The team announced that left hamstring tightness was the reason for the early exit after Hernández was off to a 2-for-2 start with an RBI.

Hernández has been integral to the team this season, hitting .305 with a .909 OPS and nine home runs.
Especially with the lack of depth in the outfield, fans will hope that the injury doesn't keep Hernández out for longer than Monday. Although replaced by Taylor, his offensive numbers are nowhere near what the 2024 Home Run Derby champion has been producing.
Taylor is batting just .200 in 20 appearances this season as Monday will mark his 21st of the year.

There was good news, however, during the Monday contest, as it happened to be the first career-MLB start for Hyeseong Kim, who has been working his way up in Triple-A. He recorded his first career hit shortly after Hernández's exit.
Los Angeles will do what they can to get back into the win column on Monday after their seven-game winning streak was put to a halt on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves.
The three-game set in Miami is followed by a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks before the Dodgers finally return home and complete what will be a 10-game road trip. Hopefully Hernández is able to return soon and continue producing for his team.
