How To Watch, Stream Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals Series

The Philadelphia Phillies head south to face the Washington Nationals in their first road series of the 2024 season.

The Philadelphia Phillies will play on the road for the first time this season when they travel to Washington to face the Nationals to start a three-game series on Friday.

The Phillies (2-4) had the day off on Thursday after their finale with the Cincinnati Reds was delayed several hours due to rain.

The Phillies are actually ahead of last year’s pace at this time, as they started the season 1-5. Slugger Bryce Harper broke out of an early-season slump in a big way with three home runs in a single game against the Reds.

Through six games, both Brandon Marsh and Kyle Schwarber have two home runs. Schwarber also leads the team in batting average (.280) followed closely by catcher J.T. Realmuto (.278).

Starter Zack Wheeler has started two games for the Phillies, and even though he’s 0-1 he has an ERA of 0.75 and is allowing batters to hit just .174. He will not start in this series, as the Phillies open the Nats series with Aaron Nola.

Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, starting lineups, how to watch and listen, injury updates and more.
