76ers' Veterans Remain on Injury Report vs. Warriors

In this story:
On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will welcome the Golden State Warriors into the Wells Fargo Center, as they look to snap their ongoing two game losing streak, having only won a single game since Joel Embiid's injury last week.
In their last time out, the Sixers took on the Dallas Mavericks in a match that delivered on all fronts for the first three quarters before Philadelphia looked to have lost steam in the fourth.
Going into the fourth, the Sixers were only down three points to the Mavericks in part to the offensive efforts of Kelly Oubre Jr, Tyrese Maxey, and Tobias Harris, who combined for 43 points.
While Luka Doncic, Josh Green, and Kyrie Irving did their part in the opening three quarters to put Dallas on top, Grant Williams and Jaden Hardy finished off the Sixers by putting up 20 points between them in the fourth.
As has been the trend with the Sixers over the previous few weeks, they had to run a short rotation for a duration in the match as they were without five players, three of which will remain out against the Warriors on Wednesday night.
Nicolas Batum, Robert Covington, and De'Anthony Melton will all be sidelined against Golden State on Wednesday night.
Batum will be out due to hamstring strain, which has kept him out of Philadelphia's previous four games, adding to the veteran's absence riddled season, missing 15 games since being included in the James Harden trade back in late October.
Covington, who also joined Philadelphia in the Harden trade, has been out for even longer than Batum, having been out early January due to a bone bruise in his left knee.
While the 33-year-old has been out since early January, Melton has only been out for the past three weeks, as the guard continues to recover from a lumbar spine injury.
The Sixers are set to take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST.
