Following Tuesday night’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Joel Embiid notified his millions of Instagram followers letting them know he was “back in the office.”

At the time, Embiid returned to the court after spending multiple months on the injury report following a meniscus surgery, which occurred back in February.

Although Embiid was on a minutes restriction, his two-way impact on the game helped the Sixers achieve a big win over OKC. Two nights later, the Sixers were scheduled for a matchup against the Miami Heat.

While Embiid was on the injury report for the outing down South Beach, the big man was cleared for action and played alongside his All-Star teammate Tyrese Maxey for the first time in a long time.

After the game concluded, Embiid took to Instagram once again to react to the results.

“I got two words for you… BIG WIN,” Embiid wrote.

The caption was a play-on from his NBA-WWE crossover of DX. As a big-time fan of the legendary wrestling stable, Embiid has brought some of DX’s most popular catchphrases and motions to the game. With Wrestlemania taking part in Philadelphia this week, the caption was fitting for the occasion.

Embiid and Maxey put their two-way dominance on display once again on Thursday. Although the game was a tight one, the Sixers defeated the Heat 109-105. Embiid wrapped up the outing with 29 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and a block.

Maxey, on the other hand, led the way with a game-high 37 points along with nine rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals.
