Tobias Harris Remains Questionable vs. Nuggets

On Saturday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Denver Nuggets, ending their season series against the defending NBA Champions, following their first match earlier in the month.

In their last time out, the Sixers took on the Indiana Pacers, as they looked to keep their six-game win streak alive.

They wouldn't be able to, as Philadelphia fell to Indiana, 122-134, in a match that saw Pascal Siakam erupt for a 26-point, 13 rebounds, ten assists triple-double, the sixth of his career.

For Philadelphia, Joel Embiid, who was named an All-Star starter prior to the match managed to score 31 points, continuing his 22-game streak of putting up 30 or more points.

The Sixers' bench proved to be a valuable source of offensive energy, with KJ Martin, Danuel House Jr, and Delaware Blue Coats' star Ricky Council IV combining for 33 points.

Some of the Sixers' struggles can be attributed to the absence of Tobias Harris, who was questionable ahead of the match, before being downgraded ahead of the start due to an illness.

While Harris has managed to be a rather consistent figure in Nick Nurse's lineup this season, only missing two games so far this season, he may miss his third on Saturday as he has been downgraded to questionable due to the same illness.

Without the 31-year-old, the Sixers have struggled, failing to secure a win, potentially due to the absence of his 17 points and six rebounds per game.

When the Sixers took on the Nuggets earlier in the season, Harris had himself a night, scoring 24 points on a high-efficient 80 percent from the field.

In his place Nurse decided to start Kelly Oubre Jr, who struggled from the floor, scoring four points on 40 percent shooting. This isn't to say the 28-year-old wasn't productive elsewhere, as he recorded three blocks against the Pacers.

The Sixers are set to take on the Nuggets on Saturday night, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EST.
