The Chicago Bulls (26-28) look to gain momentum heading to the All-Star break as they visit the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers (35-17). The Bulls are coming off a morale-boosting 136-126 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday but will be hard-pressed to come up with a win against a Cavs team that has already beaten them twice this season.

Surging Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have been on a remarkable winning roll lately, winning 17 of their last 19 games. Cleveland’s nine-game winning streak was recently snapped by the Philadelphia 76ers in their last outing, 123-121. This means Cleveland will be heading to the match highly motivated to make up for their sorry loss to a Sixers squad that did not have reigning MVP Joel Embiid.

The Bulls, on the other hand, wish to head to the All-Star break with another win in their pocket. Ayo Dosunmu broke out for 29 points and seven assists in their win over the Hawks and will be leaned on to carry some of the load, especially on the defensive end with the Cavs featuring the dynamic backcourt of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland.

Caruso is questionable

The Bulls’ defensive sentinel, Alex Caruso missed the last game against the Hawks and has been listed as questionable due to a toe injury. However, Dalen Terry and Torrey Craig—two players dealing with injuries—are expected to suit up for the shorthanded Bulls.

Alex Caruso takes the lead in grooming the Bulls' competitive form: "I've got to try and pull guys with me"
