J.B. Bickerstaff Talks About Cleveland's Late Game Struggles

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost another close game to the Miami Heat. This is what J.B. Bickerstaff had to say after the game.

Cleveland has done a lot of things well this season. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, they have an offense that can hang anyone, and they're still a very young team.

With that being said, there are also some areas that the Cavs have clearly struggled with during this season. The most glaring one is their inability to close out games.

The Cavs' three-point loss to the Miami Heat was a prime example of this struggle. Even with multiple opportunities, Cleveland wasn't able to execute in the clutch and ended up losing.

Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff had a lot to say about where they stand as a team

"To me, it's about the total game. What position do you put yourself in down the stretch? What plays are you making for the entirety of the game? Obviously, end-of-game execution and understanding one another is huge ... But again, we're still learning each other and were still learning how to play in games like this and experience is the difference for all of us so we just keep working at it."

Bickerstaff seemed to be level-headed after the game and seemed assured that the Cavs would fix these problems. These fixes need to come soon though.

This season is flying by and we're already into the month of February which means each win and each loss is getting increasingly more important.
