In their most recent contest, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 117-115 to sweep a three-game homestand.

Today, the Cavaliers will play in the 2024 NBA Paris Game, taking on the Brooklyn Nets for the second time this season.

Here are four things to expect in today’s matchup.

1. Allen Facing His Former Team

After missing the season-opener between these two teams back on October 25, Cleveland center Jarrett Allen will face his former team for the first time this season.

The 25-year-old has played very well in the Cavaliers' last 11 games with both Darius Garland and Evan Mobley out of the lineup, averaging 19.4 points, 13.2 rebounds, and four assists per game, and shooting 66.7% from the field.

Allen has also recorded a double-double in each of his team's last seven contests.

2. Cavaliers Cashing In From Deep

In the last meeting between these two teams, the Wine and Gold shot 17-for-43 (39.5%) from three-point range.

Entering today’s game, the Nets are allowing the fourth-highest opponent three-point percentage (38.6%) in the NBA.

3. Bridges Bringing The Offense

Brooklyn forward Mikal Bridges leads the Nets in scoring with an average of 21.2 points per game.

The 27-year-old tied his season-high of 42 points in his team’s most recent game, a 134-127 overtime home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

4. Nets Striving For A Needed Victory

With a record of 16-21, Brooklyn currently holds the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference, which is the final seed for the NBA Play-In Tournament.

The Nets have lost six of their last seven contests, and have gone 3-11 in their last 14 games.
