Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Mavericks-Grizzlies Play-In Game

The Dallas Mavericks listed Anthony Davis on the injury report against the Memphis Grizzlies

The Dallas Mavericks have been in the headlines for what seems to be all the wrong reasons this season.

From blockbuster trades to constant injuries to key players and rotation players, it may all come to a close Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies if they cannot secure the win and the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks took care of business against the Sacramento Kings in their last game to give them the opportunity to take on the Grizzlies. Dallas was able to pull away from the Kings in the second quarter and amass a large lead by the end of the quarter, and cruise the rest of the game with a double-digit lead.

Anthony Davis was a large reason behind the solid win as he totaled 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks on 39/50/100 shooting splits.

Unfortunately for fans, the Mavericks have officially listed Davis on the injury report as PROBABLE while he still deals with his adductor strain.

Davis has been the subject of much of the talk around the Mavericks, as he was a part of the trade package that saw Luka Doncic depart from the Mavericks and head to the Lakers, which has been a sore spot for many Mavericks fans. However, Davis has made it a point to prove his worth to not only his new teams but its fans.
