The Los Angeles Lakers are currently sitting at 41-25, which is good for the No. 5 seed in an air-tight Western Conference.

After the blockbuster trade of the century that sent Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic to L.A., among other pieces, it set a precedent that anything can happen in the basketball world.

This led to players joking about their own comfort level on the roster, fans theorizing who would be next, but more seriously had insiders predicting what other trade targets a team might have after this season.

Part of why the Lakers agreed to trade their championship winning big man was that Doncic was seen more of a player to grow with in the post-LeBron James. Also, how could one pass up the opportunity to acquire such a sensational talent at just 26 years old.

In Bleacher Report's latest prediction for each team's top three offseason targets, another major name is seen landing in Los Angeles.

Insider Eric Pincus wrote that due to Mark Williams failing his physical and voiding a trade that would send the seven-footer to L.A., the Lakers will still need an elite presence down low to build with.

And what better presence than two-time MVP and NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo.

"The Lakers already landed a dream target in Luka Dončić, but the franchise is greedy. If Antetokounmpo demands out, a combination of salaries, talent and picks could get him to Los Angeles. It's a stretch, but it'd be remiss to leave him out if this is a team's wish list."

Antetokounmpo has expressed his desire to stay in Milwaukee before, but after seeing the impact Doncic has in Los Angeles, he claimed how much he wants to see the next generation of European stars to take over big markets.

" I want Luka to the Lakers, I want Jokic to the Knicks. I want all the Europeans to go to all the big markets to see something incredible. This is what I want. This is my dream.”

It would be a dream for both sides in this potential deal, but until a deal is made, that is all it will be to Lakers fans.
