In this story:
With only a few days left before the NBA trade deadline, it seems that the Los Angeles Lakers could look to make some more additions. The team has already surprised the basketball world by trading away star big man Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for star guard Luka Doncic.

But it seems that the Lakers could make some other moves. Additionally, it seems that Los Angeles has been approached by the rival Golden State Warriors once again about a potential trade for star LeBron James.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, the Warriors have touched base with multiple teams about star players. This includes the Lakers veteran forward.
"The Warriors are legitimately calling about every All-Star player. You name the All-Star player, the Warriors have probably called about them. Paul George, they have called. They've made calls on every star and that of course includes players like LeBron, players like Kevin Durant, players like Jimmy Butler. They are making calls. They are deadset on trying to find another star player, superstar player with Stephen Curry."

James has given the Lakers no indication that he would be willing to be traded or leave Los Angeles. But after the trade for Doncic, some speculated how this could change things for the superstar.
Additionally, NBA insider Jack Fischer has also reported that the Warriors did check in on the availability of James to see if his stance would change.
“As of this writing, James has shown no indication that he is willing to waive his no-trade during this season, league sources told The Stein Line. However ... There are certainly teams — Golden State chief among them, sources said — that have inquired whether that stance could change between now and Thursday's trade deadline.”
While it remains unlikely for the Lakers to deal James, weirder things have occurred before. Los Angeles is more likely focused on adding a few pieces around James and Doncic so the team can make a run in the postseason down the line.
