Pistons Currently Residing In The Bottom Tier Of NBA

A recent article published by ESPN has the NBA broken up into five-ish tiers and they are as follows:
Tier 1: The Six True Contenders
Brooklyn Nets
Milwaukee Bucks
Chicago Bulls
Golden State Warriors
Phoenix Suns
Memphis Grizzlies
Tier 1.5: Dangerous Loomers
Tier 2: Solid Playoff Teams
Tier 3: Fighting To Avoid The Play-In
Los Angeles Clippers
Denver Nuggets
Dallas Mavericks
Minnesota Timberwolves
Philadelphia 76ers
Toronto Raptors
Tier 4: Fighting To Make The Play-In
Boston Celtics
New York Knicks
Atlanta Hawks
Charlotte Hornets
Washington Wizards
Indiana Pacers
Portland Trail Blazers
San Antonio Spurs
Sacramento Kings
Tier 4.5: The In-Limbo Pelicans
Tier 5: Counting Lottery Balls
Houston Rockets
Oklahoma City Thunder
Orlando Magic
And your beloved Detroit Pistons.
Orlando and Detroit are the two worst teams in the league, which could result in the Pistons landing the No. 1 overall pick...again. Cade Cunningham has already shown that he was worthy of the top pick, but he needs a lot of help. There are a couple of young pieces on the Pistons roster, but no one is proven yet. Literally no one. If Dwane Casey remains the head coach beyond this year, he'll really have to put some things together next season in order to keep his job, especially with potential No. 1 picks on the roster.
