It's been a week since the Houston Rockets and the rest of the NBA witnessed one of the most shocking trades in league history.

In the deal, the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris from the Dallas Mavericks for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick.

While Christie has played in each of the last two games for the Mavs, averaging 15 points per game, Davis has been on the sidelines with an abdominal strain that he suffered back in January.

However, Davis is not on the injury report and is ready to go for the Mavericks when they host the Rockets tomorrow.

Davis, 31, was the No. 1 overall pick by the New Orleans Hornets in the 2012 NBA Draft, where he spent seven seasons before being traded to the Lakers in 2019.

Davis won a championship in his first season with the Lakers in the COVID-19 bubble in 2020, but he was unable to get Los Angeles back to those heights in the years to follow.

Davis now has a chance to take the Mavs back to the Finals alongside Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson, two fellow former champions in their own right.

Tipoff between Davis and the Mavericks and the Rockets is set for tomorrow at 2 p.m. CT.
