Experts Pick Four Bets to Take for Suns-Warriors

Betting experts from across the web are confident in these four bets ahead of Wednesday night's meeting between the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.

It's once again time for Phoenix Suns basketball, which means you're also able to make a little money while watching the likes of Devin Booker throw shots up at the Footprint Center.

Tonight, the traveling Golden State Warriors come to town in what's expected to be a tough matchup between two teams looking to shake their recent form.

Phoenix got the best of Golden State in their first matchup in 134-105 fashion.

Will we see a repeat?

While the final score will eventually be settled, here's four bets to take tonight when the Suns and Warriors meet once again:

Experts Pick Four Bets to Take for Suns-Warriors

Devin Booker

AJ Salah, Covers.com: Fade Steph Curry

"Curry was also held to just 21 points in Golden State's prior meeting with Phoenix on October 25 — a season-low if you discount the 37-point blowout of San Antonio in which he only played 27 minutes. Bridges not only frustrates the much smaller Curry with strong positioning but is exactly the kind of long-limbed menace that's tough for Steph to shoot over.

"Also working against the Warriors is Phoenix's pace, especially if Paul winds up playing tonight (which seems more likely than not, given the high-profile national TV matchup and the prolonged rest he's had since sustaining a heel injury). CP3 grinds the Suns down to one of the league's slowest paces, and while Cam Payne isn't as deliberate, having Bridges in Curry's jersey all night will force the Dubs to burn more clock.

"Some may see this as flying too close to the sun (pun possibly intended), but Steph will have his work cut out for him to pile up points in this matchup.

"My best bet: Stephen Curry Under 28.5 points (-117)"

Ryan Sanders, DraftKings: Under is the way

Over/Under: Under 227.5

"Neither team has had a lot of success hitting over the total so far this season, as the Warriors have missed that mark in their last five straight games. The Suns went over the total in their loss to Miami, but they’ve finished under in five of their last seven outings overall. They’re 3-4-0 against the over at home this season, and while 227.5 is a relatively low total for these two teams, I’m still leaning toward the under in this one."

PicksWise: Warriors are Golden With Spread

"The Warriors are 0-7 on the road this season and will be without Klay Thompson tonight, but they are the much healthier team heading into tonight’s game. On top of the health issues, the Warriors and Suns have been trending in opposite directions over the past week or so. Golden State has finally started to play some inspiring basketball, winning 3 of their last 4 games, including a win over the Cavaliers — whereas the Suns have lost 3 or their last 4, including a loss to the Orlando Magic.

"There’s some bad blood between these teams as well, with Draymond Green, Warrior’s head coach Steve Kerr, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton all getting hit with technical fouls in the last game, while Thompson was ejected from his 1st NBA game in his career. After getting clowned in their 1st matchup, I’d expect the defending champs to have a little extra motivation heading into tonight. Look for the Warriors to stay hot and put another W in the win column."

Eric Moody, ESPN: Book Bounces Back

Best bet: Devin Booker over 37.5 points + assists + rebounds.

"Booker may be forced to play without Chris Paul again, as his backcourt mate is questionable. Since Paul has been out the last three games, Booker has averaged 24.6 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, and 6.6 assists per game. He surpassed 37.5 PAR when the Suns played the Warriors back on October 25th. Golden State ranks 21st in points allowed per 100 possessions."
