Suns Scouts in Attendance to Watch LeBron's Son
The Phoenix Suns are all in for the upcoming years - new owner Mat Ishbia has made sure of it.
The Suns have recently acquired names such as Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant on the trade market on top of firing coach Monty Williams and bringing in Frank Vogel. An impressive start to the free agency period has the team locked and loaded for a potential championship push next season, which would be a first in franchise history if successful.
However, the Suns are also ensuring they're doing work towards the future. Second-round pick Toumani Camara was considered by many to be an impressive selection for Phoenix with the No. 52 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, though Phoenix also potentially has their eyes on another prize in Bryce James.
James - if you're unaware - is the son of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and younger sibling of Bronny, who recently committed to USC.
James participated in Peach Jam - a top AAU basketball tournament - and the Suns were one of a handful of teams that made it a "priority" to send scouts to watch James play.
James is a 6-4 shooting guard and is entering his junior season.
