Suns: Devin Booker, Jae Crowder Respond to Haters on Twitter

Phoenix Suns players sure had an interesting week on the internet.

For not playing in the NBA Finals, the Phoenix Suns sure saw an interesting weekend unfold. Devin Booker and Jae Crowder capped off what was one of the more entertaining stretch of days to be on Suns social media.

It partially began with forward Mikal Bridges appearing on JJ Redick's podcast and giving insight into what he and fellow members of the Suns experienced in their series against the Dallas Mavericks

Bridges, while he received some hate for his comments, was largely applauded for opening up and not deflecting questions or downplaying the situation (link to what he said is down at the bottom of this page).

Suns color analyst Eddie Johnson traded some words with Kevin Durant on Twitter. Durant attacked ESPN's Stephen A. Smith for saying Michael Jordan changed the game of basketball for the worse.

Now, that's a ridiculous statement. But Johnson defended Smith after Durant attacked the general vicinity of media members, which of course Johnson is a part of. You can view the first of those tweets here.

What caught most eyes in the Valley were the tweets of Booker and Crowder, who have largely been silent since the Suns were bounced out of the postseason.

Those tweets, mostly directed towards fans who have relentlessly given Phoenix some slack for failing to make good on their talent to win the NBA Finals, came with a dash of spice.

While Booker's tweet is more inviting for conversation, the Suns are obviously not feeling the love they once saw from fans.

Booker and Crowder appear to know the love/hate cycle all too well.
