PHOENIX -- The Los Angeles Lakers have a lengthy injury report heading into tomorrow night's matchup against the Phoenix Suns at Mortgage Matchup Center highlighted by Luka Doncic.

Doncic will be out with a lower left leg contusion after leaving the Lakers' 103-88 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday with the injury.

Meanwhile, Austin Reaves has been upgraded to questionable after missing three games with a left calf strain, while Rui Hachimura (right groin soreness) will be out for the second game in a row.

Deandre Ayton is off the injury report after missing the last two games with a sore left elbow.

Lakers coach JJ Redick provided an update on the four starters during practice earlier today (via ESPN's Dave McMenamin):

"Luka has a lower left leg contusion. He'll be day to day. (Reaves) participated partially in practice today. He'll be day to day. Rui, also day to day. (Ayton) was a full participant, and I think he's off the injury report."

Reserve guard Gabe Vincent will also be missing his third-straight game with low back soreness.

Meanwhile, for the Suns, Jalen Green remains out with a right hamstring strain and will now be re-evaluated in two-to-three weeks according to a new update released today, which you can read more about by clicking here.

What Luka Doncic's Absence Would Mean for Lakers

Doncic is leading the NBA in scoring this year at 34.1 points per game.

The Lakers (19-8) have gone 4-2 in the six full games Doncic has missed this season.

Phoenix has done a good job against Doncic in the teams' first two matchups, as although he is averaging 33.5 points per game against the Suns, he has only shot 22.7% from 3 and averaged 7.5 turnovers across the two games.

This led to the Lakers getting blown out 125-108 by the Suns on Dec. 1, but they pulled out a 116-114 victory over Phoenix last Saturday.

What To Expect in Suns vs Lakers

The first two meetings between Phoenix and Los Angeles have led to some intense moments between Dillon Brooks and LeBron James, so some more fireworks between the two are to be expected tomorrow.

Brooks was ejected in last Saturday's loss with 13 seconds to go after confronting James after cashing home a go-ahead 3-pointer. After Brooks was ejected, James knocked down two free throws on the next possession that ended up winning the game for the Lakers.

The rivalry between the Suns and Lakers has only been amplified this season with Brooks now with Phoenix, and even with L.A. shorthanded, both teams should put up a competitive fight against one another.

Tomorrow's game tips off at 7:00 p.m. MST.
