2027 NBA Mock Draft: OKC Thunder Add Trio of Prospects in the First Round

Oklahoma City is one of the best teams in the NBA, and even after consecutive seasons surpassing 60 wins, the Thunder have plenty of draft capital to continue improving the team's roster.

OKC could have three picks in the first round of the 2027 NBA Draft, potentially receiving San Antonio and LA's selections in addition to the Thunder's pick.

While the 2027 draft is still nearly a year away, Jonathan Wasserman at Bleacher Report recently tried to predict how the class could shake out.

Here's a look at who Wasserman paired with Oklahoma City in his first 2027 NBA Mock Draft.

No. 7: Patrick Ngongba II

Entering his junior season at Duke, Ngongba would be another intriging addition to the Thunder's frontcourt rotation.

As a sophomore, the former five-star recruit averaged 10.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, two assists and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 60.6% from the field and 25.8% from 3-point range.

Listed at 6-foot-11 and 250 pounds, Ngongba's size, athleticism and production make him an intriguing big man in the 2027 class and one of the top returning players in college basketball.

No. 23: Hugo Yimga-Moukouri

An 18-year-old forward from France, Yimga-Moukouri has starred during international competition and could earn a spot in the 2027 class.

Listed at 6-foot-8, Yimga-Moukouri averaged 9.8 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 51.4% from the field and 40.9% from beyond the arc in 18.8 minutes per game across 41 contests with Nanterre 92 in 2025-26.

With good size and solid production as a perimeter shooter, Yimga-Moukouri could see his draft stock continue to rise.

No. 29: Billy Richmond III

A former five-star prospect, Richmond averaged 11.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, two assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 56.3% from the field and 25.9% from deep as a sophomore at Arkansas.

Following a strong 2025-26 campaign, Richmond had the potential to be selected in the 2026 NBA Draft, but elected to spend another year with the Razorbacks.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 205 pounds, Richmond would add an athletic wing player to the Thunder's rotation.

No. 34: Alex Condon

In the second round, Wasserman paired the Florida big man with Oklahoma City.

After helping the Gators win a national championship in 2025, Condon averaged 15.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 55.6% from the field and 17% from 3-point range.

Listed at 6-foot-11 and 236 pounds, the Australian center would add another interior prescence to the Thunder's frontcourt rotation.
