NBA Admits Missed Call in Warriors vs. OKC Thunder Game

The Last Two Minute Report has one missed call in the Golden State Warriors vs. OKC Thunder game

The Golden State Warriors and OKC Thunder played another exciting game on Friday night, with OKC taking down Golden State in overtime. The NBA has released an extensive Last Two Minute Report for this game, and it only includes one missed call.

According to the NBA, Steph Curry should have been called for a traveling violation prior to his three-point basket with 30 seconds left in the overtime period. It was an incredible shot from Curry, but one the NBA admits should not have been allowed, as he traveled prior to the shot attempt.

In their explanation, the NBA wrote, "Curry (GSW) establishes his left foot as his pivot foot and slides it prior to releasing his jump shot attempt."

While this was a big miss at the time, it was ultimately inconsequential, as the Thunder would survive to win 138-136. It was a huge win for an OKC team that continues to establish itself as one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

For the Warriors, it was another frustrating loss in a very winnable game. There have been far too many of these for Golden State so far this season, especially for a team that has championship experience and championship aspirations. This is something the team has talked about quite a bit, and hopes to turn around sooner rather than later.
