NBA Legend Claims Warriors Hated Jordan Poole

Charles Barkley believes the Warriors traded Jordan Poole for a reason.

There's definitely more than meets the eye when it comes to the Golden State Warriors suddenly trading Jordan Poole. NBA fans may never know the actual truth, but NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has his own claim.

Barkley conducted an interview with Monte Poole with NBC Sports Bay Area about the Chris Paul and Jordan Poole where he gave some very candid thoughts.

“They hated Jordan Poole,” Barkley claims. “They really hated Jordan Poole. “That’s the No. 1 thing I said to myself: They really hated Jordan Poole.”

Charles Barkley doesn't have any actual evidence to back his claims, but its a belief he believes in strongly enough to put into a major publication. In all honesty, it's hard to believe there are other reasons besides that as well. Teams don't typically trade a rising 24 year old player for a 38 year old point guard that doesn't necessarily fit the team's offense. One thing is clear though, the Warriors and Jordan Poole definitely needed a mental reset - something Charles Barkley agrees on.

“This is going to be a chance for him to reset,” Barkley said about Poole. “He had a tough year. He was peaks and valleys, so he needed a fresh start. I hope it works out for him.”

Hopefully, with far less pressure on the Washington Wizards, Jordan Poole can find himself and prove all of his haters wrong.
