NBA Reveals Full Warriors vs. Kings Playoff Schedule

The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Sacramento Kings

For the first time ever, the Golden State Warriors are set to face the Sacramento Kings in the NBA playoffs. The league had previously only announced the game one dates, but the the entire first round schedule has now finally been revealed. For the Warriors and Kings, it will look like this:

The Warriors will play games one and two in Sacramento with just one day of rest in between, but will then have an additional day off between games two and three, along with games three and four. Should the series extend beyond a fourth game, the Warriors will have an extra day off between games four and five before having just one day off in between games five and six if needed, along with games six and seven if needed.

When the matchup was first solidified, Warriors guard Klay Thompson said, "That's gonna be fun, man. First time in NBA history. It's gonna be really special. And I know the Kings fans are gonna be really excited, they haven't been to the playoffs in a while, so it'll be very exciting. That's just great. I mean, great for the NBA, great for Northern California, and it's great for us, we don't have to travel too far. Which is very nice, because sometimes flying across the country every other day is exhausting."

With minimal travel from San Francisco to Sacramento, the Warriors are pleased with this first round matchup.
