Warriors Star's Status Unexpectedly Downgraded vs Celtics

Chris Paul's status has changed.

The Golden State Warriors have a massive game against the Boston Celtics tomorrow night, but they may have to do it without one of their key players.

Chris Paul has been downgraded to questionable against the Boston Celtics due to general illness.

While Chris Paul may be coming off the bench this season, he's actually been very important for the Warriors in these last five games. Last game against the Portland Trail Blazers, he hit a very clutch shot to seal the game while also putting up a stat line of 4 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds. The game before against the Nets, Paul put up 2 points, 11 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Tuesday night's game against the Boston Celtics is a 2021-22 NBA Finals rematch between the two teams. Last season, the two teams split their matchups with a 1-1 record, with each game being very exciting. While the Warriors aren't currently the same powerhouse they were the past two seasons, it should still be exciting to see an NBA Finals rematch.

After struggling throughout the month of December, the Warriors made the move to bench Andrew Wiggins and also had a crucial team meeting. Since then, the team has gone 2-1, with wins against the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets. Step by step, the team is playing with renewed energy.

The Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics face off tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. EST.
