Andre Iguodala Out Indefinitely With Surgery Needed

In this story:
If there's one player who hasn't caught a break this season, it's Andre Iguodala. After only playing eight games so far this season, the Warriors announced that Andre Iguodala will miss an extended period of time with a fractured left wrist that requires surgery. The Warriors released an official press release today.
"Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will undergo surgery next week for a fractured left wrist. Iguodala suffered the injury during Monday's win over the Phoenix Suns at Chase Center. An update on his status will be provided following the surgery."
It's been a really unfortunate year for Andre Iguodala. He started the season missing the first 39 games with an injury, played only 3 games, missed the next 22 games due to injury, and then only played 5 games before needing surgery. Iguodala never really got a chance to find his rhythm due to all the injuries, and only averaged 2.1 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 rebounds this season.
The Warriors have not given a timeline to say when Iguodala would return from the injury, so it's too early to say that he'll be out for the rest of the season. For now, it's safe to say that Iguodala will be out indefinitely.
Fortunately for the Golden State Warriors, the team has been playing without Iguodala and should know how to operate without him.
