BREAKING: Warriors Make Major Update to Draymond Green's Injury Status

After experiencing a concerning setback with his knee injury, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green may be making his return on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors announced on Monday that Green had been upgraded to probable vs. Portland, meaning he should be available to play.

This is huge news for Green and the Warriors, especially coming after Steve Kerr's concerning update on Sunday. When asked about Green's injury on Sunday, Kerr said, "It flared up today. So he will be more thoroughly checked out today by our medical staff. It was sort of unexpected. The way he came through treatment yesterday it was looking good, and the he had a setback today. So we'll learn more today, and we'll have more for you tomorrow."

Now just one day after that concerning setback, Green has been upgraded to probable. This is great news for a Warriors team that cannot afford any more injuries to key players. The team is in striking distance of the 5th and 6th seeds, and could realistically ascend into the middle of the playoff picture with a stretch of wins over the next week.

With Steph Curry also making progress towards a return, the Golden State Warriors hope that they can get their full team back together for this crucial stretch run to end the regular season.
