In this story:

During a 2020 episode of All The Smoke, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green said, "I don't like [Chris Paul] at all. Like we don't have a good relationship at all, but I respect his hustle and I respect his IQ."

Rather than walking back those comments now that he and Paul are teammates, Green went a different direction when addressing them on Patrick Beverley's podcast, saying, "I've publicly said I didn't like Chris before. I'm just not gonna be like, 'Oh man, that changed, now he's my teammate.' No, I look forward to talking amongst men. I look forward to working with another adult."

These comments from Green have caused some concerns amongst the Warriors fanbase about a possible relationship rift between he and Paul; however, recent comments from the veteran point guard have caused some reason for more optimism about the pairing.

"I feel sorry for the other teams that’s got to play against both of us," Paul said of Green. "Because he’s always been very vocal, as I am. I’ve always thrived with guys like that."

With two players as competitive as Green and Paul, it's unlikely they would let their previous battles get in the way of pursuing a championship together as teammates. While Green's comments were somewhat concerning, and much different than Steph Curry's response to his previous battles with Paul, it doesn't sound like there we be any issues.
