Warriors Announce Injuries to Two Key Players

In this story:
While it was already announced that Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green had suffered an ankle injury that looks to sideline him for four to six weeks, the Warriors officially confirmed that injury with an announcement on Monday. In addition to Green's injury, the Warriors announced an additional injury to veteran guard Cory Joseph, who will be reevaluated in two weeks with a lower back strain.

-Draymond Green: Left ankle sprain, re-evaluated in two weeks.
-Cory Joseph: Lower back lumbar strain, re-evaluated in two weeks
Joseph was signed by the Warriors this offseason, and projects to be a key piece off the bench. While he is of course not as integral to Golden State's success as Green, Joseph should be an important piece for the Warriors this season once he returns form injury.
While neither of these injuries are significant, they certainly complicate what is a crucial training camp for the Warriors. With so much unknown about the roster, rotations, and who fits where, the Warriors were hoping to find all of those answers during camp. While they could still get a lot done in training camp, there will be another adjustment period for the Warriors once they get their roster fully healthy.
The biggest question for the Warriors at this point is the role of Chris Paul. Whether Paul starts or comes off the bench is still to be determined, and camp will give the Warriors a chance to look at different combinations.
