WATCH: Encouraging Footage of Steph Curry's Injury Rehab

In this story:
The Golden State Warriors have done well to survive during Steph Curry's latest injury absence. While there have been ups and downs during this latest stretch, the team is 4-4 in their last eight games without Curry, which has allowed them to not lose any ground in the Western Conference standings.
While the Warriors have done nicely to hover around .500 since Curry went down, it is clear they need their superstar point guard back sooner rather than later. With a real chance to escape the play-in picture, the Warriors are just a half-game back from the 6th seed. If Curry returns soon, that feels very much in play.
While an official update on Curry's injury is expected to come on Wednesday, a recent video of his on-court workout session looked very encouraging:
Steph got an on-court workout in after practice today -- looked to be moving good. Great sign for the Warriors. We should get an official update on Wednesday. pic.twitter.com/Mruk23E7Ip

In the footage uploaded by Jason Dumas of KRON4 Sports, Curry could be seen making shots from all over the floor. Not only was Curry making shots, but he also seemed to be moving well. While this was of course a non-contact workout, Curry's ability to successfully complete individual workouts will ultimately determine when he can progress to contact work.
As was the case with his shoulder injury, it seems as if Curry has avoided any setbacks in his rehab, which is always encouraging. A return date is still unclear, but it seems as if the superstar point guard is getting closer.
