Has The Kuzma - Poole Experiment Worked?

How Has The Jordan Poole Acquisition Impacted Kyle Kuzma And The Washington Wizards?

Over the years, the NBA started to do Big Threes. We have seen what a real Big Three looked like in Boston with the Celtics as well as in Miami with the Heat. In fact, those two particular teams became a rivalry. It was a game the entire NBA world looked forward to. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen versus Chris Bosh, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade was one of the best matchups you could possibly ask for. The Decision by arguably the greatest of all time changed basketball forever.

In the NBA today, money has become an issue and players are getting expensive nowadays. Yesterday’s price will not be tomorrow’s price. It’s not easy to pay everyone now and teams are faced to make a decision of their own. We see a lot of One-Two punches now. The Boston Celtics have the Jayson Tatum - Jaylen Brown combination. The Miami Heat have Jimmy Butler - Bam Adebayo combo in full effect too. Even the Philadelphia 76ers have one of their own with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.

The league has some of the most talent it has seen since it’s existence. We see what LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been able to do and even Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Well, how do the Washington Wizards match up in their One-Two Punch compared to the others? Kyle Kuzma is having his best season in his NBA Career. However, we can’t say the same about Jordan Poole.

The combination of Poole and Kuzma simply hasn’t worked thus far this season as they are statistically the worst One-Two Punch in the NBA. We see their record. It’s no secret that they are struggling tremendously at this moment. Bad shot attempts and turnovers have been a key reason why their season has gone the way that it has. There is a lot of pressure and responsibility on the Wizards pilot and co-pilot’s shoulders this year. They need help! They need more key consistent contributors to help them become one of the better One-Two punches in the NBA today as they are asked to carry this team to victory night in and night out.
