Kendrick Perkins Throws Shade At Wizards

In this story:
At the end of each season, there is always a sense of hope and optimism for every team in the NBA. It is all fair game at that point and the past seasons of every team are seasons of the past. You can take the Orlando Magic for example. Last season was a season they want to put behind them, although they did make some progress as they finished 13th in the East at 34-48. This season, they are just second in the East with a 14-5 record which is just one game from first place to the great Boston Celtics.

The Wizards were hoping for a turnaround this season however things have gotten off to a rocky start as they have the second worst record in the entire league at 3-16. The roster has been gutted after all of the offseason moves that were made in the front office. The Wizards are a team that is trying to climb out of a whole they have dug themselves in. It is safe to call this a rebuild at this point as the Wizards have been struggling all season as they have already found themselves on a nine game losing streak.

Former Wizards Guard/Forward Kelly Oubre was having a fantastic season this year for the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, his season has been derailed and his with setback as suffered from what he described a rib injury after a bicycle accident. He is now set to return to action this Wednesday for the first time in about two weeks against the Washington Wizards.
The Wizards are such a joke right now that Kendrick Perkins is glad Kelly Oubre Jr. is coming back for the Sixers next "scrimmage" game vs. Washington 😂 pic.twitter.com/5NPmTJvWCs

Kendrick Perkins of ESPN recently went on the record to say the Philadelphia 76ers and Kelly Oubre are happy to make Oubre’s return to action in a scrimmage game against the Wizards. Perk was disrespecting the Wizards as he said that given the recent struggles of the team. With that comment, this game may be a trap game for the Philadelphia 76ers. This may be a game that the Philadelphia 76ers may come into feeling like they may pick up an easy win. However, the Wizards will probably come to play hard in this game if they heard this comment by the former Celtics Center.
