Jordan Poole Receives Praise From Future Hall Of Famer

It seemed like yesterday that Jordan Poole was on the biggest stage of his NBA Career where he helped the Golden State Warriors win another NBA Championship two seasons ago. Poole played well during his time in Golden State. As a matter of fact, he played so well, many may be wondering why the Warriors decided to trade him to the Washington Wizards in the first place.

Well we know it had absolutely nothing to do with his play. Jordan Poole is one of the league’s best scorers. He averaged 20 PPG as a reserve so we can only imagine what his numbers will look like upon starting in Washington. The real reason why he’s in Washington more than likely has to do with the Draymond Green situation. No matter the case, we all are expecting him to have a monster season for the Wizards this year, including his former teammate, Klay Thompson. Here’s what the future hall of famer had to say in a sit down interview with LA Clippers F Paul George about his former teammate, Jordan Poole.

This season will be an important season not just for the Washington Wizards, but also for the newest acquisition, Jordan Poole. Poole was a player who many people felt would take Klay Thompson’s spot in the starting lineup but eventually on the team as a whole. Many felt Klay should have been the one to be dealt. Many also felt like the Warriors would become Poole’s team as Steph Curry ages and rides off into the sunset in his due time.

Ultimately, Poole is now in Washingon where he has the opportunity not only to continue to grow as a player, but continue to grow as a leader too. He will grow as a leader both on and off the court. The Wizards have a lot to look forward too and Wizard fans do as well as we embark on a journey with Jordan Poole who has a chance to possibly lead the league in scoring this upcoming season. Klay’s word has true meaning behind them. Jordan Poole has All-Star written all over him this upcoming year.
