In this story:

Being an athlete and playing any sort of professional sport in life is extremely hard. It’s tough and exhausting on the body and can really take a toll on one not just physically but emotionally as well. This goes as far as even golf. We all seen the ending stages of the great Tiger Wood’s career. Baseball is another sport where you don’t expect much to come from injury. Unfortunately, it happens and age and mileage has a lot to do with it.

Sports like the NFL, NHL, and the NBA are expected to have some sort of injury. It is a high contact and high impact sport. In the NBA however, the new era of basketball has help to limit injuries. These athletes aren’t attacking the basket as often as they used to and are now shooting a lot of three pointers. Even with that change, former Wizard star Bradley Beal is still in the headlines with injury news. He has missed a preseason game already due to what is being described as a back injury.

When any player misses a game, it causes a disruption in rotations and it becomes very hard to honestly assess the team to improve on a daily basis. But when a star player or any starter misses a game, that’s when you really see the effects on the team and it ruins the chemistry. The Wizards shouldn’t have that problem at all moving forward. They have one of the youngest teams in the league that is full of talent and will be a force to reckon with for years to come.
