Fans Rightfully Crush NFL and NBC for Putting AFC Playoff Game Exclusively on Peacock

In this story:
The NFL playoffs start this coming weekend and there’s one thing fans of all teams can agree on—it stinks that the NFL and NBC will be airing an AFC playoff game exclusively on Peacock.
That’s right, if you want to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins, you’ll have to subscribe to Peacock to see the game.
The NFL has been getting into the streaming business the past few years, but this is the first time fans will have to pay extra to see a playoff game. And there’s a reason for that—money.
Here’s how much NBC is paying for this game:
Peacock is paying in the range of $110M to exclusively carry a playoff game. The game they are getting is a Chiefs / Patrick Mahomes game.

FWIW: My comment section is not happy. https://t.co/37RpZLnaVG
The game will be aired on NBC in the local markets:
If you’re worried about that potential Chiefs game being on Peacock, don’t worry. It’ll be on WPXI locally. NFL rule that stream-only games have to be on over-the-air TV in the two local markets.

Fans are rightfully angry about this:
Tell me you're out of touch and don't care about you fans without telling me you're out of touch and don't care about your fans:

"Exclusively on @peacock"
People shold be fired at @nfl and @NBCSports
The NFL is putting their Saturday night playoff game only on Peacock. I get money rights and building a struggling streamer but what a massive mistake IMO.

An absolute joke that a full NFL playoff game is exclusively on @peacock. Steaming services are ruining sports broadcasts.

Wait the Saturday night Wild Card game is only on Peacock? We have to pay to watch a playoff game? Hey @NFL 🖕🖕

I hope the exclusive @peacock NFL playoff game gets atrocious ratings. pic.twitter.com/XUOLjpJPPu

A Peacock exclusive NFL Playoff game feels illegal and wrong. pic.twitter.com/wa2LzgVWzM

“First NFL Playoff game exclusively on Peacock” = least watched NFL Playoff game. pic.twitter.com/Y8Cj7moEXy

Probably just me but I think the NFL having a playoff game exclusively on Peacock is disgraceful. It’s never about the fans and always about the money. I hope it gets the lowest rating of any playoff game.
