Tua Tagovailoa Joins Darius Rucker for Long-Awaited Musical Collaboration in Vegas

Tua Tagovailoa had his best season with the Miami Dolphins this year, but his biggest revelation came off the field when he showed off his guitar skills on the “ManningCast.” That performance caught the attention of country music star and long-time Dolphins fan Darius Rucker, and the two teased a collaboration on social media in December.

Well, it finally happened. Tagovailoa joined Rucker on stage while Rucker was performing his hit song “Wagon Wheel” in front of a Las Vegas crowd that included many within the NFL, like New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

Tagovailoa’s guitar skills are almost as impressive as his quarterback ability, and it led to him performing with a country music legend. Rucker came to fame as the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish in the 1990s, but he’s also had a successful solo career over the past decade or so.

Tagovailoa enters after playing in every game for the first time in his career while leading the league in passing yards with 4,624. As he waits for a new contract, the Dolphins quarterback is living his best life in Las Vegas.
