In this story:

One of the most impressive facets from Brock Purdy so far this season is that he hasn't thrown any interceptions yet.

The 49ers offense is humming and sustaining drives thanks to that. He's not compromising the team with any turnovers by putting them in bad spots. To go three straight games without a pick is fairly impressive. However, he has had a few close calls. Some of his throws have been knocking on the door of a pick. It's only a matter of time before he throws one. It's not like he is going to be perfect in the turnover game every week.

But looking at the schedule with who the 49ers face over the next several weeks, Purdy could continue to put up donuts in the interception stat line. And with the way Kyle Shanahan schemes his playmakers brilliantly wide open, it lessens the likelihood of Purdy throwing one. That's largely why he hasn't done so through three games.

So, how much longer can Purdy go without throwing a pick?

I wouldn't bank on him throwing one against the Cardinals. Although, they are looking a lot more scrappier than anticipated coming into the season. They pulled a massive upset over the Cowboys and have not made it easy on their opponents in their two losses. But I don't think this is the game where he commits his first interception of the season. So, he will go four consecutive games without throwing a pick.

Where that streak ends will be in Week 5 against the Cowboys. It's going to be such a highly anticipated game with it being on Sunday Night Football that it is certainly going to bring a playoff atmosphere. The stakes will feel high despite it being a singular regular season game. Purdy could potentially be pressing in that game to make something happen, especially after the playoff matchup last season. The Cowboys defense was stingy against Purdy and pressured him heavily.

I would expect the same thing to occur with stalwart pass rusher Micah Parsons bulldozing his way through right tackle Colton McKivitz. It'll force Purdy to scramble to the left side of the field where he struggles to deliver, thus forcing a throw that could end up as a pick. I know the Cowboys were just humiliated by the Cardinals, but I sincerely doubt that they will fall asleep at the wheel when facing the 49ers.

How many more games do you think Purdy can reel off without throwing a pick?
