Lou Anarumo Lifts Curtain on Collaboration With Joe Burrow
CINCINNATI — Collaboration and teamwork have helped the Bengals become one of the winningest franchises in the NFL over the past few years.
Defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is no stranger to that, revealing he and Joe Burrow bounce multiple things off each other to gain an edge on opponents.
"I'll ask him, 'Hey, take a look at this, what did you see?'" Anarumo said on the Green Light Podcast. "Especially again going back to OTAs, training camp, but even now when the scout teams going out I'll tell him 'Hey, take a look at his pressure. Did you see it disguised Well? Are we dropping out too soon?' And he'll be able to give me some feedback."
Lou gives Burrow some tips as well when it comes to opposing cornerbacks he may have scouted in the draft. All in all, it's helped the team win the sixth-most regular season games among all NFL teams since the start of the 2021 season (27 wins).
