DJ Turner Used to Playing Through Size Issues: 'I've Been on The Lighter Side my Whole Life'

CINCINNATI — The Bengals' newest cornerback isn't worried about size questions as he enters the league.

DJ Turner is just under 6 feet tall and 178 pounds. Although, he's used to playing against bigger competition.

“I’ve been on a lighter (side) my whole life, you know?” Turner said after the Bengals picked him. “I just trust my feet and speed—I know how to use them best. Nobody is faster than me, so I trust my technique and know my speed to use them to my advantage.”

Turner has blazing sub-4.3 speed and youth to aid a changing Bengals secondary.
