CINCINNATI — The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson have agreed on a long-term contract agreement, ending his trade request this offseason.

The two are tied together through the 2027 season with the new deal. According to Josina Anderson, he is now the highest paid player in NFL history by total contract value on a five-year, $260 million deal with $185 million in total guaranteed money.

Jackson missed the final five games of the 2022-23 campaign as the Ravens offense struggled to find the end zone without him.

He finished with 2,242 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. The 2019 MVP now has a contract in tow as he and the Ravens try to take the AFC North crown from Cincinnati.

The Bengals and Chargers are up next on the quarterback deal front.
