CINCINNATI — The Bengals were surprised that Myles Murphy fell to them at 28, and so was the consensus draft board from Arif Hasan.

Cincinnati got the biggest steal of the first round according to that evaluation grouping.

The 2022 first-team All-ACC talent posted 45 tackles (11 TFLs), 6.5 sacks, and 3 pass breakups last season and ended up 15th on Hasan's consensus board.

He should instantly help the 29th-ranked sack tally from last season and is a rare recent Bengals first-round pick that will contribute from Day One, as confirmed by head coach Zac Taylor and defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
