Colbie Young Catches First NFL Preseason Touchdown to Open End Zone Trips Against Bears

Cincinnati is battling Chicago in the second preseason game.

The Bengals struck in the end zone first during Saturday's preseason battle against the Bears with a nice over-the-shoulder catch by Colbie Young for the first preseason touchdown of his career.

He continues to make a case to be a featured player in the Bengals offense as the dirty-work receiver behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

“He has been a sponge,” receivers coach Troy Walters said recently. “He wants to be great. Anything little or anything he does wrong, he wants to be coached and corrected. The first (preseason) game was OK. He made a couple of plays but had one drop. He understands it. He knows that he’ll improve from this game to the next game.”

Josh Johnson threaded the ball to him nicely on a 17-yard strike to take a 10-6 lead late in the second quarter.
