It's no secret the Arizona Cardinals lost some considerable talent the last few years, and 2023's introduction to a fresh rebuild under new general manager Monti Ossenfort was a reminder of that as names such as DeAndre Hopkins, Zach Allen, Byron Murphy and J.J. Watt among others departed the organization.

Though there's obviously still some talented players on the roster, do the Cardinals have anybody considered good enough to make a top 100 list in the NFL?

One would think a healthy Budda Baker and Kyler Murray would make the cut, though that wasn't the case in CBS Sports' Top 100 NFL Players of 2023 list. Both Cardinals were named as honorable mentions, but the Cardinals didn't land a single player on the list.

There were a handful of former Cardinals who made the cut, however.

92. Pittsburgh Steelers CB Patrick Peterson

"After a so-so 2021 season, Peterson played much better last season for the Vikings. He signed a one-year deal to help the Steelers cover units this season. He's getting up in years, but defied his age last season," wrote Priscoe.

87. Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk

"In his first season with the Jaguars after signing as a free agent, he had a team-high 84 catches with eight touchdowns. He is really good in the middle of the field," said Priscoe.

81. New Orleans Saints S Tyrann Mathieu

"After a so-so 2021 season for the Chiefs, he was back to playing at a high level last season in his first with the Saints. His versatility is what makes him such a special player," wrote Priscoe.

64. Philadelphia Eagles EDGE Haason Reddick

"He tied with Myles Garrett for second in the league in sacks with 16. In his first season with the Eagles after signing as a free agent, he showed he can be a major problem as a disrupter off the edge," wrote Priscoe.
