Three Teams to Watch as Trade Talks Intensify Around Cardinals' No. 3 Pick

The 2023 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, here's two teams Arizona Cardinals fans should keep an eye out for as movement begins.

We're now less than three hours away from the 2023 NFL Draft, and the Arizona Cardinals have some serious business to handle.

After a long offseason of deliberating, the Cardinals still own possession of the No. 3 pick in the draft as time currently stands. However - when Arizona is on the clock - many expect to see a trade.

Thanks to a top-heavy quarterback class and teams underneath the Cardinals potentially vying for the pick (AZ might get some extra help if Houston passes on C.J. Stroud), sources have told All Cardinals the team has been intent on trading down for months now - which comes as no surprise considering their record and current state of the roster.

Here's three teams to watch when the Cardinals are on the clock:

*For what it's worth, sources have told All Cardinals that the Las Vegas Raiders believe Arizona's asking price is too much and will not look to make a deal with them.*

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have secretly been a favorite for this pick for some time now, but trade talks have reportedly garnered steam between the two sides. That comes as no surprise considering Monti Ossenfort's previous history with the team and Tennessee's lack of belief in the duo of Mailk Willis/Ryan Tannehill.

This could also net the Cardinals a huge haul by trading outside of the top ten, and if the Titans are really forced to pay up, that could include multiple future first-round picks.

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are also in the same boat as Tennessee while also having new offensive mind in Shane Steichen at head coach. He'll certainly want his guy to run their offense from the jump, though the Colts may be content in staying put at No. 4.

This could be a win-win for Arizona, as they drop just one spot in a hypothetical trade with Indianapolis, allowing them to still gather some top draft capital (likely a couple Day 2 picks) and still be in range to get an elite cornerstone player.

Not that the Cardinals would intentionally trade back to block division rivals in Seattle, but allowing the Colts to have their taking of quarterback while also picking somebody in front of the Seahawks wouldn't be a shabby start to the draft, either.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans could very well take a quarterback with the No. 2 pick, but recent smoke suggests they'll forego that opportunity and potentially take somebody like Will Anderson Jr. - which wouldn't be a bad choice by any team.

A possibility recently brought up in NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah's last mock draft suggested the Texans could use their No. 12 pick to move up and secure a deal to trade with Arizona, drafting back to back at No. 2 and 3.

This would have to be a monster haul for Arizona to consider, but the Cardinals are in the business of rebuilding, and you're looking at some serious lottery tickets with a potential trade package back.
