Chargers News: Fans Mock LA's Thursday Night Broadcast Graphic

It was bad enough for the Los Angeles Chargers losing in primetime to their divisional rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders. Even worse was they allowed the Raiders to drop a franchise-high 63 points, which ultimately led to the firing of Brandon Staley and Tom Telesco.

During the game, which ran away from the Bolts from the start, a bizarre graphic appeared on stage. This graphic lit the internet on fire, making people wonder how this even happened.

A definition appeared on the screen which referred to a made-up word called "chargering." The description of this word was even worse as it stated it means to "lose in heartbreaking fashion."

Naturally, this led to many people pointing out how the broadcast was completely roasting the Chargers.

What was supposed to be a term shared amongst fans was broadcast to the world. Now everyone can refer to the Chargers as "chargering" when they are getting demolished. The Bolts have dropped many close games over the past few seasons, and Amazon Prime Video took full advantage of that.

The term certainly refers to Thursday's game, which was full of horrific moments. One such moment is watching a 300+ lb lineman score a touchdown on a fumble. John Jenkins ran in a TD, and there was no one to catch him.

Hopefully, this new era of the Chargers will reverse "chargering," as the team needs to enter 2024 with a brand-new outlook and toughness.
