Chargers News: J.C. Jackson Uncertainty Leaves All, Including Himself Puzzled

In this story:
The Chargers came into this season with new light and energy. Things were supposed to be different in 2023, and through three games, all things seem to be the same.
The team sits at 1-2 with a crucial game ahead of them as they face their division rivals Las Vegas Raiders. It is a big game, but it's even more significant as they want to avoid an even bigger hole they dug themselves into. They're coming off an impressive win on Sunday, all without their star cornerback J.C. Jackson.
Jackson was listed as a healthy scratch in Week 3, and his status remains uncertain for Week 4. Things smell fishy with the whole situation, leaving many wondering, 'What the heck is going on here?' including Jackson himself.
"I don't know, what else do they expect me to do? I told coach what else do you expect me to do? I've been doing everything. I came back from my injury pretty fast. I've been putting in extra work after practice, even in meeting rooms. The DBs every Friday we all meet to do extra film and being a good teammate, so I don't know what it is. I'm still kind of confused and still don't have answers to why I'm getting treated like this."

Yikes. That's not exactly what you want to hear from your high-paying corner.
Jackson returned quickly from his torn patellar tendon that he suffered in Week 7 of 2022. We're just as confused as Jackson; however, his confidence has not wavered, and he believes he can still contribute to the Bolts if he gets to again.
"I know what I can do," Jackson said. "I know that I can help the team so it kind of frustrates me that I'm not starting and that coach has me sitting out, and I'm one of the best players on the team. I'm one of the best [defensive backs] that we have."

Jackson was recently issued an arrest warrant for violating his probation, which may have something to do with the issue, but the Chargers have yet to speak on it.
He was charged with criminal speeding back in 2021.
Whether it concerns his legal issues or not, Jackson's overall play in LA has been mediocre at best. He didn't fit in last season before his injury, and through his first two games, he's looked pedestrian.
We're unsure how this will end, but it doesn't look like it'll end well now.
