If you are a Chargers fan, you should be very excited about what is to come on the offensive side of the ball in 2023 and every other fanbase should definitely be fearful. It's crazy to think that even with the stagnant system that Joe Lombardi had in place, Justin Herbert and others were still able to carve out some of the best years of their career.

But Kellen Moore is here now and already getting some of the team prepared for what is to come the rest of the year. LA is looking to be one of the most dynamic and versatile squads in the entire NFL.

The biggest issue late in the season for the Bolts, other than injuries, was that they could produce a ton of touchdowns or even first downs without Justin Herbert getting passes off. Moore is well-aware that Herbert needs to avoid wear and tear this season and he wants to utilize everybody on the field.

Prior to this new position with the Chargers organization, Moore previously oversaw the offense of the Dallas Cowboys. Here, he was able to work with the likes of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.

LA's new OC believes that they have some similarities with Herbert and Austin Ekeler and wants to implement some of the small details he used in Dallas.

“You’re able to carry over what we can from the past couple of years and then build off some of the Dallas stuff that is, maybe, coming from a scheme standpoint," he said. "There are a lot of different ways of playing football, and you just have to keep it tight and condensed so that these guys can play fast.”

This should be music to everybody's ears considering all of the talent that LA already has on their roster along with the TCU rookies that will be suiting up for the first time this season.
