Studesville Gets Interview to Become Tennessee OC

Studesville has been with the Dolphins since 2018 and served as co-offensive coordinator in 2021

Eric Studesville is the longest-tenured member of the Miami Dolphins coach staff and is respected enough to have been retained by the team's last two head coaches, but he could be leaving for another job.

Studesville will be interviewing for the offensive coordinator position with the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler, and his prior working relationship with new head coach Brian Callahan and his experience should make him one of the leading candidates for the job.

Callahan was hired after serving as the Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator, but he began his NFL coaching career with his six-year stint with the Denver Broncos from 2010-15 where one of his colleagues was Studesville.

Studesville was with Denver from 2010-16, finishing the 2010 season as the team's interim head coach after Josh McDaniels was fired.

Callahan and Studesville were on the coaching staff of the 2015 Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers.

STUDESVILLE'S MIAMI DOLPHINS CAREER

Studesville joined the Dolphins in 2018 when he was hired as running backs coach by Adam Gase, with whom he had worked in Denver. Brian Flores retained Studesville replacing Gase in 2019 and named him co-offensive coordinator along with George Godsey in 2021 after Chan Gailey retired after one year.

When Mike McDaniel replaced Flores in 2022, he kept Studesville as associate head coach/running backs coach.

Under Studesville's tutelage, Raheem Mostert earned his first Pro Bowl invitation and had his first 1,000-yard season in 2023, while rookie De'Von Achane set an NFL record for backs with at least 100 carries with his 7.8-yard average.

If Studesville does wind up leaving, special teams coordinator Danny Crossman would become the team's longest-tenure coach, having arrived in 2019.
