Bills' Von Miller Talks Aaron Rodgers, Stacked AFC East on 'Draft Kickoff Live'

Appearing on NFL Network, the former Super Bowl MVP assessed the Jets in the aftermath of this week's trade

Von Miller is up for the challenge.

The Buffalo Bills pass rusher made a guest appearance on NFL Network's "Draft Kickoff Live" and addressed a number of topics.

In the interview with show hosts Andrew Siciliano and Steve Wyche, Miller spoke highly of the New York Jets

"The Jets were already a great team without Aaron Rodgers," said Miller, who is recovering from ACL surgery.

The two-time Super Bowl champion, who is in his second year with the Bills, highlighted Gang Green's top playmakers on both sides of the ball.

"That defense is crazy with Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, CJ Mosley. They're stacked on defense," said Miller. "Offense is crazy, too. Garrett Wilson and all of those guys. They have Breece Hall coming back [from injury], and then you add Aaron Rodgers on that team. The Jets will definitely be a tough team."

Robert Saleh's squad split with Buffalo during the 2022 regular season, winning at home in Week 9 before losing on the road in Week 14.

The Jets limited Buffalo to a total of 37 points over the two-game span, well below the Bills' season scoring average (28.4 ppg).

When it was all said and done, however, the Bills won the AFC East for the third year in a row while the Jets finished in fourth place thanks to a season-ending six-game slide.

Miller admits Buffalo's quest for a fourth straight division title will be a serious challenge.

"The AFC East is a tough division," marveled Miller. "The Miami Dolphins got better, the New England Patriots got better, and we '[the Bills] got better."

Miller hinted at a healthy amount of primetime television appearances for the four division rivals in 2023.

"Whenever you bring a guy like that into the division, you're gonna have primetime games and primetime moments," said Miller. "That's really what you play the game for. I'm super excited for it."

Miller, a seven-time All-Pro, has 123.5 career sacks in 161 games. He ranks 19th overall on the NFL's all-time sacks list.

The 34-year old Miller recorded 1.0 sack and forced a fumble in Buffalo's 20-17 setback at MetLife Stadium last season, but he did not play in the second meeting due to the knee injury he suffered on Thanksgiving Day.
