The Seattle Seahawks are undergoing a major offensive makeover and it's unlikely to end until the 2025 NFL draft is complete. We still expect the team to upgrade the offensive line, but don't be surprised if Seattle targets a tight end.

Even after signing veteran Eric Saubert on Monday, the team lacks a true playmaker at the position. Saubert, 30, is a good player who specializes as a blocker.

The Seahawks still have pick Noah Fant on the roster, but the former Broncos first-round pick has yet to take that next step production-wise. Fant was predicted to be a cap casualty, however, he appears to be safe for now.

A new mock draft from Yahoo Sports projects Seattle to draft Penn State blue-chip tight end Tyler Warren at pick No. 18.

"Tight ends play a big role in the offense that new coordinator Klint Kubiak is installing in Seattle, but the Seahawks don’t have a big-time talent at tight end," wrote Yahoo Sports writer Charles McDonald. "Insert Warren, who is one of the best players in the draft and could be a steal in Seattle’s offense given his athleticism and wide array of skills."

Warren is the eighth-rated player on Pro Football Focus' 2025 big board and is the undisputed No. 1 tight end prospect in a draft class that features some pretty good ones. Last season, the Nittany Lions standout recorded 104 receptions for 1,230 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

While Warren is unlikely to be available at pick No. 18, the Seahawks would have a tough time passing on a top-10 talent if he were to fall in their laps.

The 2025 NFL draft is a little over a month away and the Seahawks have enough picks to address needs without reaching. We'll see what general manager John Schneider has up his sleeve after making drastic changes to kick off free agency.
